Guide to in-game purchases

Here's a quick overview for those who want to invest a bit of real money at a dolphin 🐬 level and don't want to be a whale 🐋. Prioritize on this and you'll get the most benefits without breaking the bank. These are in order of importance to get the most progress out of it.

1) Initial buy pack: Kimberly is probably the strongest hero in the game. Buying here is a must at the beginning. With a price tag of just over €1, everyone should by this pack.

2) VIP: absolute must have. If you have the diamonds use those to activate it. If you're out or you have a decent enough 4rd squad, buy the Super Monthly pass. The Super Monthly pass is only useful when you're out of diamonds or if you have a decent enough 4th squad. +10% gathering speed and -5% monster damage isn't worth €29,99

3) 2nd building queue and 2nd tech center

4) Taylor: After activating VIP you can buy Taylor at the VIP section. She is worth the investment up to level 4 (335 shards), but even at level 1 she gives huge rewards. She'll repay herself in the long run

5) Dawn fund: A 1-time investment that keeps giving rewards with HQ upgrades up to HQ level 30

6) Warrior's battle pass: depending on the hero that's on offer. Some heroes are not worth it, so ask/research about the hero on offer to know for sure.

7) Glittering Market (1x/month): Use 500 diamonds/day to buy glitter, don't ever buy more than the €5,99 package. It is a recurring shop and unused glitter is not lost and will be available again when the shop reopens the next month. So you can stack glitter for when the shops reopen and get higher tier rewards. Save up and aim for the Epic Gear Blueprint, Helicopter or mushroom skin and the Tower of Victory. You can

8) Daily sale bundle: Use it to unlock heroes you don't have for a minimal price. But again consider if the hero is worth it. Also, you can use it to upgrade hero tiers but that's a personal choice. I advise to rather collect enough universal UR shards to level up tier levels and only use the daily sale to unlock new heroes. As more heroes unlock on the server, the availability in the daily sale will rotate.

9) Other Hot deals: Sometimes a hot deal is worth the buy based on your personal needs at that time, so be sure to check them out and consider wisely. 10) Bullseye Loot: Grab all the free ammo from ammo bonanza. Its a good choice to buy the €4,99 pack daily. However, don't spend the ammo in Bullseye Loot but stack it up. You'll have 140 bullets at the end. The event returns every 2 weeks. You'll need an average of 680 bullets to get the epic gear blueprint. It's the cheapest way to get epic gear blueprint in the game, besides the Glittering Market, but you have to be patient till you have enough bullets to complete all levels.

11) Total Mobilization: This is a recurring shop event that lasts 7 days. There are no free items to claim. You buy a pack and you get coupons. Those coupons can be exchanged in the event. There's a progress bar for additional rewards. You can buy 1 of every pack per day. Except for the Supreme pack which has no limits. There are some nice rewards available in the shop like UR hero shards and UR gear but they are extremely expensive. Don't aim the progress bar to obtain the Mythical Gear Blueprint. It will cost you around €11.000,00 ! This shop can serve as a back up to pick up missed items, but be aware that you'll be paying high prices.

All other in-game purchases are pure clickbait and exist only to support and exploit the monetization model of the game. They're either not worth buying or heavily overpriced.

Bonus tip: When you go to the official site lastwar.com, you can buy "golden bricks". They replace real money in the game. You'll get a 5% top up bonus very often, basically giving you a 5% reduction on in-game purchases. Just be aware you have to pay either by gold brick or with real money. You can't combine both. So the whole amount of the buy must be covered by bricks.
